Thermal store cylinders reverse the traditional method of water heating by maintaining a static volume of water that remains permanently within the vessel. Unlike unvented cylinders, which store domestic hot water under pressure, a thermal store functions as a high-capacity thermal battery. Upon demand, cold mains water circulates through an internal coil, absorbing heat instantaneously to deliver hot water directly to the outlet.
